Hi again everyone I would like to get your opinion on something.
When all three factions ACUs are finished I am going to make a stand alone mod to beef up all the ACUs, for the UEF ACU I will change three of the weapons (along with scale, HP, regen,) the weapon changes is where I need your opinion.
The AA is going to move to the back pack, what was the AA batteries will become antitank missile launchers.
And the 2 artillery launchers will become short rang machine guns.
Well dang, this is no longer a standard SC2 mod... More like a separate DLC type expansion. You should be hired if they would make a Supreme Commander 3. This is awesome, can't wait!
And I could picture getting that UEF or Cybran ACU to extremely high level. Like 30, that would be a supreme Commander. (though nearly unacheivable) An ACU at that level and power would even knock out experimentals. Hopefully the major kind =D
Nice reward for those of us who don't build a base and shelter him inside of it. Offensive behavior! Violence maybe is the answer... XD
every unit will have 50 levels but the ACUs aren't for fighting. they can be very useful support in a battle but not against experimentals. in the FA they were weaker than the SC2 ACUs and the experimentals were much stronger
Well I know, but you use your ACU how you want to and I use mine. Level 50 is hard to achieve, so aim lower. In FA and SC1 (and TA), I liked the idea of having a primary commanding unit, but I hated how it was so damn fragile. So if there is the opportunity to Have an ACU that is worth a damn and you can Make him able to defeat experimentals, you can believe I am gonna do that.
I guess I'm saying, I don't really care how they intended with the game. But whatever anyways, maybe some people have fun hiding the ACU in the base. Horrible game intentions. But I have FA and original, and I do understand what you mean. Why not change it up a bit? SC2 with revamp mod, I prefer than FA. How about you all?
I always use my ACU the same as I would use an assault group for taking forward ground.
But considering how GPG said it was supposed to be a power unto itself, I like the idea of it being able to take on maybe a minor experimental. It certainly can already with micromanaging and it's tactical missiles. But that isnt a strategy tailored to SupCom.

Why not make a advance veterancy system like ‘Blackops advance command units’ is using, or the engine limitation is a problem of course.
