Hammer & Hammer MKII should be one....Corpion is a T3 not an XP...Flying fortress for Cybran ? what's that ?
Phoenix will not be an XP....

seriously? the dreadnought wont be an xp? it would be usless unless the cybran ships cant walk on land. the only diference between it and a missile cruiser would be how it breathes fire. making it an xp would allow you to make it bigger. it would fit perfectly as an xp ship unit. all cybran naval units are land and sea units. make it the xp ship. the scorpion isnt xp? you guys are gonna have big *** factories to be able to fit that thing out.

a cool idea to make unit building more uh...realistic, instead of having factories, have drop pads where dropships can fly down and drop units off via snhort range teleports. why dont they just teleport them straight from the huge ship in space? teleportation should require a huge amount of energy. explaining why they dont dropship mines. it would be much more realistic and cool to see dropships come down and drop 10 new units, or just hold them till you need them. have units in stock in case your in an emergency.

a couple ideas, make the spikes a tad thicker.

turn the guns into swarm torpedo launchers and have them change the swarm missiles when it goes on land. that would really strike as much fear into the hearts of sailors as much as the real kraken would.

you could make em more triangular or maybe even turn them into four super strong tentacles that can throw ships like the colossus can. but that would require it be a major xp, which means you could make it bigger

also, do the aeon have any naval experimentals? if not, a fair idea would be to make this an aeon unit. that way you could make the tentacles more...tentacly n smooth.

does it hover or walk?

you could make it tall enough that it can grab and throw air units when on land.

an idea for melee, have something do a swing animation and do crush damage at the same time.

Nope, that's why mobbing experimentals is so bloody effective!

But You could always simulate melee range weapons by reducing the range and changing the animations.

Sorta like giving them plasma spewing spears!

But I still like the idea of giving it reclaiming guns, and making it into a battlefield hoover, like the other Cybran cleaners the magnetron and their reclaiming tower.

oooooooor you could even give it the bomb bouncer ability. that thing was my favorite unit to use. against hordes of air units. i remember playing a 4v4 game where there were hordes of air units, xps and all that, all converging in the middle of satans clutch. i built an army of 13 bomb bouncers and oh my god....so much carnage...id wait till lots of units would spam them and BOOM half the enemy's units gone instantly. that is the only xp you cant mob.

It could be a giant reclamation experimental, using tendrils to eat enemy units, and chop enemy ships.

But being vulnerable to enemy experimental and fast moving ships.

my only complaint is that the front should be longer in walking mode the balance seems weird, you don't have to remodel, just move the head up a little., other then that great work, this one definitely needed a revamp

How about you give him so much land time then he must go back in the water, like he is powered by tidal energy and needs to refill his storage, and how 'bout when he leaves the water, for the scene he could smash two front tentacles of the shore, creating a mini shockwave and doing loads of damage to all he would of crushed on-top of when he left the water and came onto the shore, and then he lifts his head followed by his tentacles from the water (still lifting himself on his front tentacles), then he quickly balances himself and carries on his orders of what he was told to do.

Description

It's been more than 3 months, since I stopped working on it, and it seems now as a paused project... Thus I wanted to share the last version of the Kraken that I was working on, so that (who knows) I might get some constructive feedback and Ideas, in order to start working on it again :)

P.S. - Yes the tall one, is the walking on land version ;)
