Love this one, but I think maybe it would look better without the "horns" on the head and the top guns. those small spiky bits that jut out along with the main guns make it a little too much imo ;) very cool model! Hope it gets an awesome walking animation, the Avalanche was one of the best units in total mayhem, with its range and especially its speed and mobility. This looks like its much heavier and bulkier, will it still have good speed?

Hey burnie222 I have a Question/favor to ask is it ok to use your weapon effect from your Avalanche from FA for the RVE version? If not thats fine but i thought it would add a nice touch.

Sure, as Ive told the others who wanted to mod my stuff, you can do whatever you want with my files.
Im wondering if you would consider making the Avalanche have its original concepts.
The main idea of it was a fast and agile experimental, low center of gravity and big long range guns on top, more like a hit and run kind of unit.
It was also planned to have a mass destruction missile in its tail (you can see the end of its tail in this pic Moddb.com ), so a toggle button would make the unit immobile and it would lift its tail in the air and send missiles from its tail, some weapons would be shut down while in this mode.
I made the animations and had this ingame, but it was very buggy and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt, so I removed the ability. Would be a nice touch for it though.

If this is an Avalanche MK II it makes cents for it to have a few design modifications from the original, though I think the tail missile idea is good and shouldn't be any problem to implement, would work just like the jackhammer I'll add it into the model and have an update soon.

When it goes into missile mode just the AA guns and maybe the main turret will stay active.

I will see if I can lower its center of gravity a little but I dont think there is much I can do for that.

Thanks Burnie you will be credited, We didn't want to rip your unit off completely you could say, which is why Avitus12 based it around yours.

i think im gonna cry when i see it finished...

i agree with burnie, the horns are good, but i liked the old turret more. it looked more tanky that way

another suggestion, not many experimentals have eight legs, maybe you could give this one eight legs to more resemble a spider?
