Slow Game Thread - Revamp Expansion Mod (RVE) for Supreme Commander 2

From extracting the .scd file(s), not using the mod manager, the game runs extremely slow, all buildings take wayyy longer to build than the time shown to build them and all units move/shoot slower even with game at +10 game speed and with units assisting to build them. Has anyone else had this problem? if so, how do you fix it?

p.s My PC is more than adequate to run this game on max settings and the game was running fine in the previous mods.
