I did get access to a badly translated English version of the mod "Republic of China 1924" back in octobre 2017. A Vietnamese guy had uploaded it on Mediafire and i got it from there for free. At first i couldn't enter the mod, but this were solved when i found that i needed an animations package for the mod to start, then i couldn't enter the campaign, but i found out that i needed a file to be added in the models_strat-folder named "ming daoshi" to get it to start. After this i had CTD on the strat-map - this i did solve by fixing errors in the regions-file, as well as by correcting lines in the expanded.txt. I've also added artillery to the USA as they had none- and i've added tanks/planes from the 1931 mod - mod should work fine now. Tanks and planes have been fixed by me - changing the rider animations of tanks, and adding new for planes. Mod is made by Voice Shen Xu ("Voice Of God Zu") over at Wanmod, a Chinese modding site - he has given me permission to publicize the 1.0 beta.

I am working on this mod - re-translating the campaign map, the menu, the names of units, titles and the buildings, as the old translation was awful.

I am also busy removing all the left-over units from the mod which this mod were based on - a mod about the Westernization of China. I've already removed about 31 units and there are more than 100 units left to remove. These units weren't in use by the mod, but they were available in the files and still in the mod but edited out using the no_custom attribute.

Besides this i am about to add new models, and have already added all the fighter planes and tanks of 1931.

The recruitment wasn't to my liking, as i dislike religious level requisites to be able to recruit new units. I did remove those requisites (no more religious levels in order to recruit a unit) but unlike in TLK it didn't make all the units available. It would seem there is an issue with many units not being recruitable in the mod.
I am now working on solving this, as i do want all units recruitable - because it is no fun having enemies with the same unit in every army. Like they have two or three different siege engines, and two or three different inf/cav units. I want them to have more of a mix of their full roster. The Chinese do have that, but the Western powers and the Japanese do not - so that is what i am working on now.
