Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
During the last week we made some good progress but of course there is still much to do. So far we have made or 100 different commits for our build each solving a bug, tweaked balance or added exciting new content The Supplyship you can see in the background was just added into the current build. It will have a quite unique, useful and awesome new ability. And healing ships around it, nor spawning many different fighters, which it all already can do, are not the just mentioned big new feature. Credits for Model/Texture/Rig/Animation goto Warb. Also you can see we have reviewed many maps and added new Skydomes or all new ambient sound.

Nice, I really like this mod. You and the team have done a great job. Looks like Admiral Trench's flagship, I really like the design of the Providence-class or sometimes known as a Trade Federation cruiser.
I can also see a Wavecrest Frigate next to that recusant in the Top left. Keep up the good work RAW team!
Will the CIS get new buildings?
As so often happens, when using real photos of space as your skydome texture, you end up with a lot of artifacts and it ends up looking very low quality. I'd definitely recommend working on that. The large bright stars also look very fake.
I know when you look to your comment section, the last thing you want to see is someone criticizing something you are happy and proud of, however given that I've worked on space skydomes before, I couldn't stay quiet.

We are always very open for any kind of suggestions.
However I don't remember your name with any skydome release for Foc so I don't know how you would suggest to do it. As you should know there are some kind of limitations that come along with foc. Those also applies on textures and those stars your are complaining about.
We are however improving our skills every day and already have reviewed some old work and created it new
I didn't say it was FOC that the skydomes I worked on had belonged to. :p I was speaking from experience working on other games like Star Wars Battlefront II and Fallout New Vegas.
I don't know what limitations FOC has in regards to its textures, but I can't imagine what limitation would prevent you from using a Levels tool and reducing the artifacts around the stars.
There's a reason why a lot of games don't use real space photos in their skydomes, it's because they can end up looking low quality. They'll either artificially generate stars randomly via ingame effects (see Naboo in SWBF2), or generate an artificial texture in Photoshop to use. I'm not saying to do away with the texture, just that it needs higher contrast and reduced jpg artifacts.

you could probably edit that yourself in the xml files. it doesn't really make sense to have more than one, at least to me.

A little idea for the CIS carrier there, maybe you could add some cannon deck holes to both sides of the ship, i mean the cannons that are used in close combat between two ships. That would be awsome. as i said just a little idea ;)

It be cool if the supply ship gave you money during gameplay and spawns 3 fighters and 2 bombers but would be a lvl three station/ tech and would be similar to and acclamator ( ps the acclamator needs way more fighters and health, like 5 fight and 2 bomb

hey i wanted to stay something. I have got this mod for a month or two now and i would like to say that it awesome...But i would also like too say is Why is it so damn frustrating, it weirdly harder than the original game on Easy! it also has alot of lagging and frame drop, but that maybe my fault. I just found it unnecessarily hard and difficult too work with.
I can somewhat agree the AI is pretty aggressive and I air and drodekia spammed in skirmish
