Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
... and the Big Boom afterwards...
I used its nuke rounds
And before the Republic fanboys scream: it has its downsides, it cannot move and is unprotected!
For those who might have posted something on my old pics and havent got an answer yet, look back at these pics as I gave some answers now!
is this like the speciel bomb the cis made, that only hits living creatures, but spares droid´s ?
Its simply an enormous explosion and yes it spares your own units... but just because there is no friendly fire in EaW
rather funny that you use the words "Fanboys" when the only screenshots you provide are of the CIS and Republic getting there ***** kicked ;)
I posted Rep images yesterday, where delta squad was pwning droid ***, a ISD was scrapping ships and some venators .... people asked me to show some CIS stuff so I do it now :D
its not the point ;) you use the word fanboy ;)
And counting now, you posted far more CIS Screenshots and CIS kicking *** pictures then Republic.
*grabs his Sherlock hat and pipe.
You're disguise has been revealed :p
to be honest the CIS kicking pictures are just because:
1. Im so bad at this game and im playing mostly Rep
2. CIS is a little bit better than Rep in some situation, we still have to balance out things
That is because the rep wins because there the "good" guys. And the good guys always win..
IRL(if you can speak about that) most battles viewed in the series etc will be lost.
I mean, 1 jedi can't take out 100.000 droids yeah? But in the series they can, because they are the good guys. Getting what im saying? ^^
well.. good guys eh? conquering a whole galaxy and dominating it as the Galatic Empire? well.. they are "good" indeed.
Thats the EMPIRE. Its different from the REPUBLIC. You see, before the original movies, the Galactic Empire was at one point ''good.'' Jedi and Clones fighting for peace. Then, when Order 66 was issued, the clones went bad guys. THEN the Empire conquered the Galaxy, see the concept?
You forget the CIS could have "never" won the war due to it not being planned out like that. They were supposed to be shut down since they were no match for the GAR :p and later the Imperial Military :P
palpatine didn't plan every battle he just made sure each side didnt get to far ahead of each other.
Incorrect, the confederacy of independant systems would have had a VERY good chance of winning the war if it was fought fairly. Remember alot of the locations of droid foundries were passed on by Palpatine to keep both forces level. And besides, everybody knows the Separatists were the real good guys...
the rep is not the good guys there r corrupt and wrong, the jedi order is good but not the rep because the cis r freedom fighters so yeah
BOOOOOOOM!!!
It's raining fire :P
Agreed with Ammeka, Palpatine wanted the war to drag on so he could gain more political power to eventually turn the Republic into the Empire. Also, part of Apollyonthedestroyer's statement is correct, Palpatine shut down the Droid Army for a reason. He could've just used them for the Imperial Army instead of the Stormtroopers. However, he preffered meatbags more and believed them to be more frighening and effecient.
The entire war was for mostly 2 reasons: to give him more power and to see which army would be more effective in combat.
It was never to see which was more effecient. He just needed the power. He never had any real intentions for the CIS.
