Rothana Battlecruiser image - Republic at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
The Rothana Battlecruiser is the heavy hitter in the Republic fleet.

It says in the wiki that its 752m. But this is much better, Republic could use a bigger ship anyway.
It says its length is greater than 752 meters, and the article mentions that it was probably a "larger warship".

It looks as if there's actually a hole in the Superstructure about a third of the way down, just in front of the command bridge. Is this intentional?!

yes, you can see the hangars if you look closely, they seem vulnerable.

Yep, that's right. Like Atise said, the hangar bays are located there. I gave it four dorsal bays instad of a ventral one.
I thought it would be nice to do something different with the design.

It all depends if those 4 hangers can keep up with me using 6 Providence, all using the Spawn Fighter ability at the same time, every 10 seconds. Although I'm pretty sure they said they would increase the recharge time of that ability. Wonder why, JK.

I'm not crazy about the open flight deck - it looks silly, having a runway on a spaceship.
It could use the same concept as aircraft carriers.

finally an update
Well I think this ship will be a great addition to the republic fleet, to me this looks like a power house and a great invasion ship since it looks like it has fast hangers which can launch/dock lots of fighters/lander craft at a quicker rate then normal. But it looks under armed are those anti-fighter cannons or heavy cannons on the sides next to the hangers? And what weapons will it have?

haha probably not i think that there will be many turbolasers just not that many visible guns
EDIT: just looked, there are eight gun turrets, four guns to each side, of the bridge "hill" to the aft. They're blended well and hard to see but look. Its a lot better armed than those four midship guns. They look a bit like 827s with a different housing

That sure is a really cool ship. I like those triangle-shaped cruisers like the Venator-class and the Acclamator-class. This would be a great addition.
i wish the pride of the core looked more like this. it really doesn't feel like it fits with the other republic ships in the fleet. the shape is just too organic for the more angular repubic armada. also it's not painted and the bridge is off
There is a canon description for a mandator's appearance in one of the books. I forget the name but it said that it was not very angular
that may be. i think some minor superstructure changes, red paint, and visible turrrets/greebles would do the ship some good.
I think the Mandator class star dreadnought is less angular than the latter ships because it was influenced by pre clone wars designs

I believe this ship was mentioned once in one of the books, the Cestus Deception, when Obi Wan calls for Republic reinforcements and they mention a Republic Battleship arrived in system.
