Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Description

In the last picture i showed you a screen shot of the task list. I was able to review most of the open, untouched tasks. Now they are standing up waiting for Killer to review them. He is currently very busy with real live stuff. As he is also much more into the balance tweaks of the mod than I'm it is essential he reviews them first. When we can get rid of the balancing and text writing tasks we can head over the last remaining big important tasks as like setting up a backup/restore server for the launcher. Also on our list you can find two tasks nobody ever likes to do but they have to be done. Of course I'm speaking about the changelog and credit list. The credit list well help you to see who had which part in the mod and you can reffer to it when creating mods with our content. The changelog, as seen in this image, will be a quiet detailed document which holds information what has been changed between 1.1.5 and 1.2. When we announce the beta phase we will create some internal versions (something like 1.1.9). those changes will be in this changelog too. As seen in the image the current draft contains over 500 lines already and this is far from being finished. Creating this requires me to look into each file and note down the differences. (You might say, that software like svn could do, but i think I'm more accurate and understand the needs better than software ;) ). Keep in mind this image just shows the current state. the values might change over again. Also, I know the circumstances sound like we are done soon, but we still do not have nor we will give any estimated release time.
