Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Lol you're talking Imperial Assault. I bet z3r0x won't betray us like the IA2 staff(no offence) by not including it in their mod.

May I suggest something? This crab droid could be much better, make it more like the ones in Star Wars Republic Commando, and add diferent versions such as this: Mocpages.com but the repunlic commando ones do look much better, it definatley needs some work/

That was an Anti-Infantry Dwarf Spider Droid. This is a Crab Droid. Spider droid is a lot bigger with a turrent on top and 4 legs.

The picture he showed was, in fact a picture of a crab droid, but it was a lego creation made by someone, and it was supposed to be an upgraded giant crab droid with an extra artillery battery on the top of the droid. That means that it is non-canon, and did not show up in any games or movies, albeit is is very cool looking. Otherwise, you are correct that the crab droid did not appear in Republic Commando, and what he's referring to is the advanced dwarf spider droid. Now there was a crab droid in the Revenge of the Sith game, that was much larger than the movie variation, and featured two very powerful laser cannons in the front, which I do not see in this model. And this model, in its own, could definitely use some touching up work to meet the standards of your other creations. But the crab droid in the game was definitely bigger and more powerful than the movie version, and whether or not z3r0x will be using the game version, movie version, or a combination of the two I don't know.

There are indeed different variations in size, but canon-wise they all have the twin laser cannons :o

I think it needs shinier textures

They're right. I thought the Republic Commando one was a crab droid too (I also think it is much cooler). Turns out it WAS an advanced dwarf spider droid. The good news is that they can put both into the mod!
