In order to expande Red Requiem: Liberation's storytelling, we tried many ways including novels, comics, and short movies to tell stories that take place in RED's universe.
One of the attempts is Outsiders - a micro movie focus on outsiders: Before Red Requiem: Liberation, in a time that the War is still not come into being, a Sino-US joint force named "Squad Outsiders" consisting soldiers from CPLA, USMC, DG and SFOD, assists the operation taken out by Philippine Police Department to take out an infamous warlord. During the operation, many problems occurs and dragging the whole operation into unknown.
In this movie we tried to investigate many themes: Invasion, ethnic minorities in US and self-recognition. The movie is not yet finished due to the majority of LHYB Studio members are focusing on the development of RED itself.
