A fan for Real life Military equipment ? then this is your mod ! it is a Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge mod that basically imports a lot of RL military hardware from the cold war era in the 60's to the late 2000's while maintaining a lot RA2 aspects like prism, tesla tech and etc. Also, It expands on the original RA2 armor system thanks to ARES in which it creates more roles to create numerous units effectively expanding the complexity of handling an army making it necessary to use mixed arms to counter the various unit types. Also, do note that each country will have some twists in their military equipment that will be more or less similar to their respective RL counterparts. In short: it is a relative to reality fun mod but "a fun mod" is conservative statement.

Cameo could do with looking a bit more RA2ish unless you're going for a different theme on purpose.

Great unit though, keep up the good work, can't wait to play this project :)

Description

The soviet Su-100 Gippo (hippo) tank destroyer is originally based on the T-34 medium tank design, it comes armed with a 100mm gun that uses SABOT rounds that are effective against all types of vehicles but is less effective against other targets. Shortly after WW2 the Gippo was introduced to soviet infantry divisions most specifically; although the tank was made to be for commanders whom favors infantry branches that more or less use a defensive posture it can still be used offensively. Unlike its other kin; it is made to be an infantry support platform in mind to which the bonus given the infantry around it is much more substantial, this approach was used due to lessons learned from the early stages of operation Barbarossa.
