A fan for Real life Military equipment ? then this is your mod ! it is a Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge mod that basically imports a lot of RL military hardware from the cold war era in the 60's to the late 2000's while maintaining a lot RA2 aspects like prism, tesla tech and etc. Also, It expands on the original RA2 armor system thanks to ARES in which it creates more roles to create numerous units effectively expanding the complexity of handling an army making it necessary to use mixed arms to counter the various unit types. Also, do note that each country will have some twists in their military equipment that will be more or less similar to their respective RL counterparts. In short: it is a relative to reality fun mod but "a fun mod" is conservative statement.

Those are some well-armed Abrams here. Missile pods, laser cannons I think in the back. Who needs Apocs when you can build the next best thing? I take it these are the veterancy upgrades?
Yeah. Normal Abrams can rank all the way to Rank-6 (Colonel - the one in the middle with gold eagle and spear).
The one in the back with lasers is not normal and more of a "Special" unit. It is also a homage for Mental Omega (since it originally started with whole Abrams with lasers ever sine MO 2.0 as far as I remember), other than that there is a lore wise reason for it to have lasers instead.
Now more on the Abrams with upgrades. There is an upgrade for Abram tanks for urban combat called TUSK (Tactical Urban Survival Kit) in RL. So I thought this would be great to go on the Abrams making it look like a mini-mammy with "Mammoth Tusk" missiles that goes along with upgrade. Now we have both Name and Content, right ?
