A freak accident occurred involving the Company's Designer, Founder along with notable scientists, engineers and celebrities where the prototype used to demonstrate the watercraft's capabilities accidentally imploded while descending during a Live Broadcast on TV. The Company went through a major PR Disaster with the loss of their Founder and head scientists and engineers. The sub was not able to see service as mass production of it began it was found out too late that it had lost competition against the Piranha & Stingray. As a means of recuperating the mass-produced submarines the Soviet Union repurposed the sub by packing them to the brim with explosives and piloted by a robotic brain.
