Any suggestions? Sometimes we are limited by the detail a 512*512 texture will provide. Any particular bits which you think should have more detail on?
not exactly. If you want to get more out of your 512 map start with a 1024 then scale down. A small noise and a sharpen will make the details pop.
I think you should maybe invest in some more paneling and vary the smooth gray that covers the building, give it a more galvanized or brushed metal look.
It's difficult to tell from this image, but the metal isn't smooth, it has a galvanized metal look, with worn parts near the edges. Also, I have created the textures at 1024 and scaled down, but I'll see if adding noise and a sharpen helps. Thanks.

Would you believe it, I went back to modify the tetxure, and realised that I had forgot to unhide the galvanized layer so no wonder you can't see it in the image!
I've updated the image with the corrected textures (still doesn't look as good as it does ingame) and model which was missing some updates I had made to it.

Nice, looks kind of cartoonish but its looking good, what style are you guys aiming for exactly? Because it kinda varies from the stuff you guys have posted so far.
We may revisit some older models so they fall in line with the style that has developed with FutureTech. I think we will be aiming to have everything look like the FT barracks and shipyard.

I don't think we'll ever please everyone. Most people have previously commented that our models require more detail and texturing, not less. The concept only really covers the shape and design of the model, not the detail. If you look at the EA models, they have tonnes of detail. Thanks for your comment though, and your support!
Hey don't get Upset I think the Model and Textures are awesome, you don't need less details it's great really.
This model is great but I have to say that your FutureTech buildings and such doesn't really look FutureTech, I hope you know what I mean...
Yet this is great Model and also a great Mod the three Best Mods till now that I saw is this one Resurrection and Paradox...
