You know how all the factions have a preferred technology (Soviets have tesla, Allies have spectrum and Empire has wave force). Well what sort of tech does Future Tech have?

well i dont think its preferred technology but more diverse. empire only has 2 things that use the wave force as do allies. soviets however have 3 (not including a tesla tank). they have unique ways of dealing with separate units. i would see allies having both chrono and spectrum as well as empire having transformation with wave force. im sure each new faction will incorporate at least 2 attributes that are specific to the faction.

Should be very concrete number, best the same.

All factions with equal number of units and techs. You know very well that in original RA3 there were imbalance between types of units. Not direct imbalance. You know, Empire's infantry doesn't have AA weapons. The Soviet has flaks, the Allied have Javelins, but what do have the Empire?

So, it would be pleasant to see in your mod equal quantity of units of different category. If one side has AA infantry, the other faction should have too such a unit.

The same with tech...

We will be making sure that the factions are balanced. Whether this means that all factions will have equal amounts of different units is another matter.

I can see from our unit list that 2 of the factions have an anti air infantry. We haven't completed the list of units for the third faction but it makes sense to have one. If we don't it means making sure that the other units available and build systems balance it out.

They didnt have Anti air for a reason did you see how badly Tengus and Vxs could kick the **** outta aircraft of any kind? they were cheap spamable and thats what they wanted the empire players to rush for to get anti air which is anoying cuz almost all Empire players ive played against online just spamed tengus and or shoguns I havnt been online in awhile though no way to get online on the computer that has it and this one cant read the disk cuz it has no dvd drive :(

Anyways about the model I think it looks kinda similar to the harbour but that may just be me still it fits RIGHT in :D

Every Faction is unique and incorporates different strategies. While playing against a soviet player as empire it is almost imposable to do a well constructed infantry spam if the opponent has scouted. 1 twinblade should do the job easily. Although allies don't have strong anti infantry air units, they can micro to do just as well from vindicators and cryo copters. Therefore it is a bad decision to spam infantry when playing a soviet player unless you have made sure they wont be making an airfield fast. I would like to see more mixing of units rather than just tankbusters and imperial warriors. Adding a light anti air infantry might loss the balance but im sure they can restore it.

Actually, the faction profiles have changed in RA3. There are no real core techs such as tesla, spectrum or wave force. They are just a tiny fraction of the overall faction profiles.

Soviets make more use of magnetic tech than tesla (including support powers). Allies are hard to categorize... I would say, they make best use of support abilities such as armor reduction (Guardian, Cryo) and multiple combos while Japan relies on its transformers and various buffs (speed, ROF, damage etc.)

As for Future Tech I would suggest sort of EMP and/or annihiliator weaponry (look at Scrin tripod) as a counterpart to tesla tech and such. Their fundamental profile could rely on cybernetic technologies, less and weak infantry just for some basic support use, but many vehicles and some aircrafts but no real Navy - it would make them unique if they were the only ones without a Naval Yard like the Empire has no Airfield because of their transformers). Think of underground units, and different orbital support powers maybe.

I like the other war factory better. I also liked the first msv better. The vehicle not the unpacked structure. The new structure is better. The new vehicle is still cool too.
