An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.

This is not a cell phone text chat. This is not MSN. If I can't understand what you are saying, you are doing it wrong.

PLEASE MAKE AN EFFORT TO USE PROPER GRAMMAR, PUNCTUATION, AND SPELLING. When you don't, I get angry. And when I get angry, Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset. and when Mr. Bigglesworth gets unset...

PEOPLE DIE! :flame:

While I heartily agree that this is a very important issue, you do realize you've ruined an excellent streak of not posting in this forum? It was almost all the way up to a year!
Personally, I was really looking forward to ruining it myself once the milestone had been hit.

Jan 4 2010 Anchor

Yeah! It was up to ten months!

I assume that you're referring to English speakers speaking l33t, not non-english speakers trying thier best, right?

Correct. Just... try your best. Seriously.

Jan 4 2010 Anchor

With you permission, if we spot one such user of "l33t", are we allowed to tell them to "zip it!"?

At the expense of sounding picky, I agree. If English isn't your first language, it's fine - we're honoured that you're willing to speak a language you aren't as familiar with just to interact with us. But if you've been speaking it your whole life, it just seems lazy to ignore standard capitalization and punctuation, you know? It's not like you're in a rush to get the message out there (our forums aren't busy enough for that) and the extra keys aren't as far out of your way.

Some people see it as disrespectful when you don't use proper grammar online. I'm not one of those people... but to be honest, I do sometimes find it hard to read. Please, for the sake of those around you! Put in the extra smidgen of effort!

If you feel like you have to use a translator, go ahead. But put it was translated.

I can read it just fine, though it'll take me some time if I want to actually write it. (I like trying to be extremely annoying with my 1337 speak).

I have a combination of problems:
English wasn't my first language
spell checker doesn't work on my version of word
I make lot's of typod
and I made a typo on the sentence on typos.
