Do you want to help R.E.A.R.M.? There's one thing you can do.
R.E.A.R.M. is looking for wallpaper and video makers. If I'll have someone else to make wallpapers and videos, I'll also have more time for the actual modding.
Wallpaper artist:
Skills required:
-at least a basic knowledge of Photoshop or other bitmap editor, some experience with the picture postproduction
-a taste for composition and colors
-to be able to create pictures on the same or better level than me and others have created for this mod so far
-to be able to regularly post new wallpapers about the current news, at least once or twice the month
Other notes:
-the preferred format is 1680 x 1050 pixels
-if you'll join the team, then every picture will require the R.E.A.R.M. logo

-at least a basic knowledge of the video cutting and editing. Video postproduction skills welcomed.
-a taste for timing, building up an anticipation, matching the video with music, rhythm. All those are welcomed
-to be able to regularly post new videos and trailers. At least once every second month

-I'm not looking for a simple gameplay footages with cursor and UI, I need someone who can create a good trailer
-you'll probably need a youtube account

So what to do? Start up R.E.A.R.M., take a screenshot and do some magic in Photoshop the best you can. Or capture a game footage with FRAPS and create some tasty video. Post link of your pictures, wallpapers and videos here in the comments (you can use imageshack.us, youtube...).
And this is not a competition, more talented people can join the group. Or no one if the results won't reach the expected level. There's no time limit, I'll be regularly checking the comments and if you'll post your work here months from now, you should still get the feedback.

I'll try for some of the Wallpapers, but my Video making skills are no-where near R.E.A.R.M quality yet.

This'll be interesting to see what people come up with, focusing on what makes Rearm stand apart from other HW2 Mods.
It doesn't look very hopeful so far, the only person interested can't play the mod.
I have to say that Halo: Homefront (I love halo.. don't get me wrong) Mod and the other MOd for Moty was HomeWorld 2 Complex .
Really? I think that the people did not see all the MODS available before they voted . I for one really think yours was way up on the list of contenders solely because of NAMING of ships alone. nuff said! I also liked Battlestar Galactica Fleet Commander, star trek mod, Path to victory, and some of the others that are still in beta of course! Kudos to your team !! keep up the good work!

wend you say try to make something...what do you mean =P the only problem of mine is that i can't make print screens of REARM because it does not work on my pc =P i was hopeing that you upload some of the stuff you want to reveal and i make the graphic stuff =P oh and btw if that is your idea plz submit the REARM text that you usualy use in the pictures.

What do you mean you can't make print screens? With the Scroll lock key or even with the Print screen key? If nothing works, there are still other screen capturers, for example FRAPS can do still images too.
But anyway, I can't upload you some of my screenshots, the point of this test is also to see people's taste for composition and in-game unit arrangement, because they should be able to do that all themselves. Well I've seen your deviantart profile, but I still need to see your own screenshot with your own graphics and with your own idea of what you want to say by that picture.

Riiight, you don't have the REARM working, sorry I didn't realised that. I completely forget it.
Well but that's a big problem then. How can you make REARM wallpapers when you can't play it at all. That's the whole point, that someone else can take that whole part of my job for me.
well but can't you do something about the problem? REARM actualy works in the story mod (whit some bugs but nothing to bad) but it does not work in human vs pc mod and i don't know why =( the loading bar stops at a scar scipt or something and then it closes it self =(
I think the new version should work, at least in the Mac compatibility mode.
But this means you can still make a screen out of the SP campaing. For example the Supercarrier should be buildable there.

I guess that the concept of REARM related videos and wallpapers is quickly falling apart, but since we two have been talking about an installer as well, you are in. You could be a very valuable member of the group.
For the others: it still stands. Please, try to make at least Homeworld related wallpapers.
I can have a go at the video editing, check my profile for some samples of my work, i try to upload everything i do but work has been slow at the moment so nothing is too new

Pouk, I have 2 years graphic design college education and experience... I can't at the moment, but whenever I get my computer back (it's currently on the other side of the country) I'll be more than happy to help. I should be able to start posting pictures and video by the beginning of February... No promises at the moment though, but I'll most certainly keep you posted.

player vs cpu and multiplayer is causing crash
Campaign mode stop at mission 3, i defend and repair the shipyard and destroy all enemy probes, no more appear... obs: is time to appear a enemy assault group to capture the shipyard
