Dow-Host: Red Phoenix Rising is a total conversion of CNC zerohour. The mod aims to deliver a more realistic battlefield experience. Also, this mod will transform Zerohour to a more demanding strategy game while keeping some arcade touches to make the game enjoyable. The following playable factions will be included: USA, Russia, China, EU, and the GLA
Our main texture artist "Trinity" as well as some of our team members are currently very busy due to demanding life / work circumstances. We do not know when they will have time to work on the mod again. Therefore we need a texture artist to texture Russian ground units for this mod (A total of 8 units).
Currently all Aircrafts of the first 3 factions are ready (US Russia China) and ground units of 2 factions (China and US) are ready. If you like this mod and know someone who can help or if you want to see the mod come to life faster please consider helping out.
Thanks in advance,
Dow Host Team
Hahaha 3d modelers are not hard to find. Texturers are few and far between. I'm learning to texture myself, but my texturing is awful. I might come back to you guys when I'm better :)
yeah you can find a 3d modeler under every stone at the beach or you can get one for free with each piece of kinder surprise. However finding a texture artist feels like winning the lottery.
Ur welcome whenever you want.
Wait so you're telling me it's easy to find a 3D Modeler who may be willing to help me (with my mod) for free??? WHAT SORCERY IS THIS AND HOW DO I DO IT?!
A good thing to do is to step into the architecture department of a university and try to find a young fresh guy who is interested in what you are doing. Im pretty sure you can find a 3d modeler there in less than 5 minutes. I might try this in a few months if we did not find any texture artist who is willing to help on moddb.
._. just ask around.
We would appreciate it if someone can do that cuz we are really busy with tons of stuff...
Texturing or skinning 3D models is really hard..... Re-skinning is much easier using Photoshop....
