Hello everyone, it is Xythos. Just call me Matt. Some of you may know me from Battlefield 2: World at War. I would like to announce that Real War 2.0 will be taken over by my team at Lone Wolf Taco Studios and Outback Studios and worked on. However it'll be renamed as Real War 2.5
I'm happy to be working on this mod and I hope some of you old players will be glad too! We'll be updating the tweak files, adding new factions, maps, and skins to this game and so much more! Be sure to track this mod and check out Battlefield 2: World at War!

Hey everybody, it is Xythos - aka Matt. I am very sorry I haven't been active with this mod for quite some time now. I have a very busy schedule - I am managing school, my friends, as well as soccer with this mod. As well, I just have no more motivation to continue working on it due to how ambitious this was and how little help I have. In a few days, I will upload the very FINAL version of the mod that I have. Basically, everyone gets the developers version. There are many new things, some that are from the questionable first release and some that have been implemented over the course of the past year. Unfortunately, this mod didn't end how I was expecting it too. There was suppose to be many more custom maps, more custom weapons, more everything. I guess it is basically a community super-mod. It has a little bit of something from most things (of course with permission.) I am really sorry, but I really appreciate all the support I have had for this mod, I really appreciate all the people who helped with this mod and the people I met here on ModDB. Thank you everyone so much. The final version will be uploaded within this week.

I'll try. Once more I'll say I still don't quite understand why this is getting so much backfire. It's a revival. I'm not tampering with the original content, I'm adding new content to this. I'm trying to make it new. The only change so far has been the name.. Real War 2.0 to Real War 2.5.. Can anyone please tell me why this is creating this big of an issue? Also, I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have permission. I'm well aware of the consequences of using others work without given consent.

Considering that this was Real War 2.0 and that mod probably didn't have permission to use the content (Correct me if wrong), shouldn't you check weather the original development team actually got permission?

Okay, that's fine. I can't see how it is that hard to believe. I gained ownership of this mod including permission for content from others. All I'm doing is trying to revive this mod and add to it and make it better.
Just Enjoy the MOD! this is for Everyone not just for him, and i guess Credits and acknowledgement is good enough though. Just give everyone a chance, ta make some History :D :D lol!
and I suggest Please RELEASE the MOD ASAP! I can't Wait :D :D
