Mirkwood Palace image - Wars of the Firstborn based on The Ridder Clan Mod for Battle for Middle-earth II: Rise of the Witch King
Wars of the Firstborn is a modification based on the discontinued Ridder Clan Mod for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II and for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King expansion, which focuses on bringing to life as much of the Elven world from Tolkien’s epic as possible.
Today we present a new redesign of the forest of Mirkwood, continuing with a rework of the buildings. In this shot you can see a total redesign of the Mirkwood Fortress which we call Mirkwood Palace.
The redesign tried to solve the problems of the previous fortress but at the same time improving the features we already liked. Also we wanted it to contain elements present in most Mirkwood buildings. We felt the previous design felt less like a fortress so we made it more sturdy looking this time.
We will post soon the upgraded version as well.
