Happy New Year 2021 news - Ray of Hope mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Greetings!

The year 2020 has come to an end, and like for many, it has not been easy for us: the COVID-19 pandemic has made its own adjustments to everyday life and affected the project and the team.

Unfortunately, this year was not the most productive for the project. We have not achieved all the goals that we set for ourselves a year ago. But despite this, there is still some progress:

1. We are seriously engaged in the developer's package and are currently developing our own SDK, since the original toolkit does not meet our requirements and is outdated. The new software should help us in further development and make our work more productive;

2. This year, we launched and conducted the second phase of the CBT. Summing up, we were satisfied with both the organization and the results of the stage. Our QA team has been expanded with new people who are interested in finding and catching errors in various components of the project. Thanks to the work of our testers, we have fixed a lot of bugs and flaws;

3. Our development team also added new members who not only brought new ideas to the project, some of which have already been implemented, but also helped with the implementation of existing ones;

4. This year we started a complete redesign of the location. But we will talk about this in detail a little later.

We believe that next year will be much more productive for our project and, although we do not like to think ahead, among our goals for 2021 is to complete the development of our SDK and move to a new stage of development.
