Description
Commissioned by a certain, yet to be named individual, the Palpatine's Pride is a heavy modified Legacy-Class Star Destroyer. Featuring two side hangers, and an additional Hypermatter Annihilator due to the massive power draw of the Octuple Turbolaser Batteries. This additional Hypermatter Annihilator replaced the bottom hanger of the original Leagcy.

Not quite :), but it is a special ships for a certain someone.
That's Orson Krennic's ship as a.)Hypermatter Annihilator sounds very sciency and Krennic was part of the Futures Program and can be considered a scientist; b.) Krennic strives to be a man of high regard and a source of pride for the Republic and Empire, and perhaps Palpatine hence "Palpatine's Pride."
This is all speculation.
Well, Hypermatter is a widely used substance to generate the massive amounts of power things like ISDs need. The Hypermatter Annihilator is what converts Hypermatter to power. I also believe SWTOR touches on Hypermatter during the Black Hole arc, granted it's been a long time since playing.
As for your guess, maybe, maybe not. All I'll say is if it is Krennic, I'll have a special surprise for him.

I'm guessing it's an Imperial ship. It doesn't even have the red accents which I remember were default.
