I don't think the Clone Wars-era Dreadnaught had a hangar. I think that was added by the Imperials later on. That being said, I like the look of the ship and am okay with it having a hangar. I do think that if you going to give the Dreadnaughts hangars, then they should launch V-wings or Z-95s instead of Arc-170s. I don't think a full compliment of Arc-170s would fit in the ships' smaller hangar.

Heh, well the ARC were just something I threw in with the render for added visuals.

Anyways, I'm likely keeping the hangar. I could probably work a bit of magic with extrude and UV mapping, but I like the idea of having a hangar bay. That said, it won't have a full compliment like a Venator, only an escort squadron of 1 V-19s/Z-95s/V-Wings depending on your current tech level.

That's a good idea.
As far as Legends-canon sources go, a Dreadnaught cannot carry more than one fighter squadron (12 fighters) anyways.

Big thanks to Sly for getting me the model and textures, and Bobbtman for creating this masterpiece. I've been looking for a decent model for awhile, but the EvileJedi one just didn't cut it for me.

I also decided to play around with 3ds Max rendering, so the images aren't quite FoC quality.
