Sector D was among the initial sectors to be damaged when the disaster hit. Hallways that were once filled with scientists working & sorting papers were now filled with panic & otherworldly abominations. Lt. Backman and his security team have spread out over the entirity of the office complex in an attempt to get ahold of the situation, to little avail. Some members of the security team were seperated from the main group & have resorted to establishing makeshift barracades with anything they could find.
"Me and my men are leaving the upper admin offices & moving to the cafeteria to establish a hard point, the cafeteria & the atrium holds a direct access point to the main elevator leading to the warehouses, if all else fails I still have the failsafe keys to this sector's turret defense system..."

Thankies! Theres going to be bits and pieces of the story hidden throughout the game, computer monitors, little hints hidden in the environment & such, even thinking of hiding some audio logs throughout the levels, always want to give folks a bit to look around for :)
That's also another reason why I love RF so much: you flesh out the game's story so much better than Valve did, and make the whole thing much more interesting. Also, I love the idea of hidden notes/audiologs, which of course will only give the player a little more depth as to what is happening, rather than hints of what to do.
As for the map, originality has once again sky-rocketed. And I think I am in love with your ceilings :P .
