It lives! You play as Dan Davidson, a high ranking security guard, and is stationed in Sector Omega with a team of 8 guards total. One day you are told by some big shot government man and a a few nervous scientists that Alpha Sector is under code black quarantine. Must be just a chemical spill right? Some following days, in the lower levels of Omega, there is a mass power failure occurs followed by strange alien lifeforms start teleporting in and infesting the base. A few hours of saving lives and taking risks, the military arrives for rescue! Wait...why are they shooting everyone? The non-stop xenian creatures and trigger happy troopers left you and your team no choice but to hide in Alpha Sector where dark and even more unknown dangers await.

So I revived this mod that was on hiatus for way too long because the development of SHAFT and just being flat out indecisive about what to do and where to go with Quarantine Alpha. A lot of things happened, along with a lot of thinking and collaborating, and now it can be worked on next to SHAFT.

So it's been a very long time.

All of you probably thought this was a dead mod. So did I, honestly. I abandoned a lot of the ideas I had before like having it set in Black Mesa and what not. Now I'm going back to those ideas.

Going back to my roots.

I'm also including new ideas and characters that were thought up and a lot of personalities were made. Very unique protagonists, allies, and villains.

I now have a scanner so I will be scanning some of the good old concepts and redrawing and re-imagining others and scan those. So expect some better quality concepts.ss 2014 08 10 at 01 42 10*This one is really old but yeah.

In conclusion...

Expect something very different, but a little familiar from what you've seen in the past. There will be unique NPCS and interactions, new maps, new enemies, new weapons, and new sounds. There will also be Xenian creatures and HECU, some enemy and some allies.

This mod will be worked on simultaneously side by side with SHAFT.

So that's that. Expect some high quality concept art, some models, maybe/maybe not some maps real soon.
