A Gameplay mod that removes much of the grind, that does not increase the game's instability, so you can concentrate on the more creative aspects of the game.
Winning the Creature stage making friends ONLY, is just tedious and for the Cell stage, adding a Mouth for meat and another for veg makes life easy. Make sure to double-up instead of a centred Mouth also. The Sucker you get later is an awesome replacement.
Also worth noting, that you should make some companions of different species, before moving onto the Tribe stage, they become your pets and give you eggs. You also want to make sure your Nest (which you can set as your "Home"), is next to the ocean before moving on to the Tribe stage also, so you can fish nearby (usually).
Tribe and Civilization stage Cards are the same colour. Switching colour after the Tribe stage isn't always easy and often prolongs the Civilisation stage significantly. And sometimes, if you are unlucky with probing Tribe encampments for vehicles of different types and no AI player has the right Trait you are after, you may have to reload your Tribe game and try again. i.e. Save before moving on to the Civilisation stage.
For the Tribe stage and you want the Industrious Trait, it's easiest just to make friends with everyone first and then wipe out a Tribe or 2.
Similar for the Military Trait, make friends with everyone first, then start wiping them out one-by-one. Sometimes it's also easier to "bait" an enemy Tribe to your base to cull their numbers and then go after their encampment.
Beware the AI player babies grow-up fast. Make sure to get them before they become adults, before going back to destroying the Hut.
For the civilisation Stage, buy a few sea and land vehicles ASAP and then immediately go for the Spice mines before any other Civilisations pop-up. The Tribe encampments are optional and only necessarily if you need to switch to a different colour Trait. Then just takeover each City one-by-one with overwhelming force. For Trader City buy-outs, save the game first in case the amount you offer is too low so you don't need to wait for ages for the next opportunity.
