Amazing ! i play your mod in my mac and very great ! But i have a probleme with my save, i can't load my save :( Why ?
I'm not sure how it works on a 'mac however I do know doom3 has a update patch for mac versions to 1.3.1 that may help.
I have that problem too, I can't load or start the game on my mac OS X.
At first I could but then I saved, came off, went back on, tried to load the save and it said loading and went back to menu, I tried this several times, and tried to get it to work by installing it several times and re-starting the game but it nothing worked, I installed Doom 3 several times and I tried looking in the folders to see if there was an error or something but I could not do anything to fix it. What should I do? Please leave a reply :P
Hi Jacktovia, for MAC I don't know off hand,except all I can think of is maybe downloading a mod called classic doom (CDOOM) and take the cdoom_mac.pk4 and put that in your base folder, no guarentees but its just an idea that may or may not work. as I don't have any direct mac support at this time. it may only work for cdoom I don't know, but i'd at least try that and see, wouldn't hurt.

I can't load my game at all, I can't even start the game after starting it once? I run on a Mac OS X 10.7.5 and I own the original Doom 3 game ( Not BFG Edition ) up to date at version 1.3.1. Any Idea :3? I really want to play this! :D
Another thing you can try is placing all the mod files in your doom3 base folder, not recommended, but it's just an idea.
sorry I couldn't be more helpful as I did not have anyone with a mac to test with. as it was only intended to be ran on windows, ... maybe use a windows emulator? best luck my friend.

Ok ty, I will try doing those things what you told me to do and I did try it on my windows 7 laptop considering Doom 3 worked well but the Prometheus mod didn't it lagged a lot at most times and mainly at the cutscenes, that's when I thought I'd try it on Macintosh and I thought it worked in which it did at first until I tried to save, But I'll try what you said, Thanks for your help! I will let you know what happens, Ty :)
Aha! It worked! I did what you said and put all mod files in the base folder and it worked, I have not used the Classic Doom mod but would it harm my Doom or Prometheus game if I installed it, anyway It seems like a nice mod is all I ain't too bothered.

Also one more question, Ridley Scot is actually doing a sequel to Prometheus called Paradise and it's coming out sometime in 2014 or 2015 which leads onto Alien, Will you make a mod for Doom 3 about Paradise after it comes out :P? If so I think it would be cool, or maybe you could make something that you might have to pay for? I think making the sequel would be a great idea! Anyway, thanks for your support!

I did yes, but all you need to do is take all your mod files and place them in your doom 3 base folder and launch Doom 3 and there you go.

I finish a solo game... Amazing ! I like predator and alien model and promotheus maps, model, weapons ! It's a best mod for doom 3.

When the ship landed on the planet you have to start the 4 wheeled bike. How do you do that?
how can i install it as a stand alone version?
You could Place the mod file into a doom 3 installation 's base folder
and it would run,in a separate installation,but follow directions where instructed... however the Stand alone I've made differs a bit in that it is it's own game, with it's own installer. and is 1.44GB in size. If I find a host for the stand alone, I'll pass the word along. for now my stand alone is still only available through me. Thanks.

I can't ride the quad bike. After the landing, I should check my helmet with the space bar. Then the landing bay opens, and I am told I could move around and ride the bike. But there is no explanation given how can I do it. I tried space, e, q, w, a,s,d,y,c,tab,left mouse button, right mouse button,... nothing works.
If I check the console, there is a warning after pressing e: "toggle cvar pull not found". In the ship levels before, I could not use the basketball too, except the very first level.
So is this a bug or is there a special key?
for the basketball get close to it and point exactly at it, as for riding the quad bike it got reduced to a cinematic because the code for vehicles didn't work right and I had to nix that.
there is a button on the bike to activate the bike to continue, I had to disable the gui click sound as it drove me nuts on the jockeys chair, hope you can get through it and still enjoy the adventure thanks!
