Projectile Swapper is a small weapon mutator for Unreal Tournament that allows you to choose what kind of projectiles every weapon uses for both primary and secondary fire modes.
Projectile speed adjustment is also available, allowing a sniper rifle to use rockets, and other such unusual combinations.
Only projectiles are available to swap into a weapon. Trace fires such as the Enforcer, Minigun, and Sniper Rifle are not swappable. However, those trace weapons can accept swapped projectiles, such as a Minigun firing rockets, etc.
Greetings.
I'd like to take this time (while I have your attention), to ask for assistance on my large mod projects. Bond Designs (my aptly-named modification development site) is looking for skilled, unskilled, well....ANYBODY! All you need is a desire to learn and mod, and of course, the means to do so...
Current projects with said open team structure are:
-Perfect Dark mod
-Devastation
And, for your anticipatory delight, there are some "ghost" projects unannounced...inquire within for more info!
Stay cool!

Greetings. Work began on Projectile Swapper about two days ago. I believe it will be done (to satisfaction, maybe not completely done) in about two more...
This is the latest version of in an umod package visit the website link for the non umod and other versions
In version 436, you cant configure the primary projectiles in the mod menu. I had to manually open the 'ProjSwap.ini' file and edit it in a word processor.
This appears to be the only way for v436 users.
In the .ini file each projectile is assigned a number, here is a list of which proj is linked to which number.
0 = default
1 = small bio gel
2 = large bio gel
3 = Shock Proj (Shock rifle alternate)
4 = Plasma sphere (pulse gun shot)
5 = ricochet razor
6 = Exploding razor
7 = Flak Chunk
8 = Flak Shell
9 = Rocket
10 = Grenade
11 = Warhead
So to change a primary, you need to assign the desired projectile into the following field:
PrimaryProj=0
Replace '0' with any # in the above list.
Save it and run UT with the mod, your changes will have been applied.
You will be able to check your assigned projectiles in the projswap mod menu. ;)
But you still cant edit them from there. :P
can you make a raw file? this looks really good
Can't you just change the weapon projectile in the UnrealEd class browser?
I actually tried that and it never worked for anything.
don't know the hompage is a POS
where can i downloadit?
very good mod indeed, they should make an application that lets you make your own weapon. You would first choose the basic model and mesh. (it would be able to be any weapon model and mesh in your UT directory.) Then choose Textures to create it (also any tex. in your UT directory) Then choose what projectile for it to use and how much it would damage. You could also change the properties like how fast you want it to fire, choose the draw scale size, Ect.. It would be great! :D
good game mod
I know that this mod probably won't be fun for very long. But I think it's a pretty good weekend project.
