Project HDTP is a High Definition Texture Package for the original Deus Ex game. The original in-game textures were of a very low resolution, some textures even being as low as 32x32. However, it was discovered that it is possible to increase the resolution of those textures to a maximum of 256. This has been tested in-game and we have witnessed the start of a massive graphical overhaul. Features: 1. All new remodelled and retextured Objects. 2. Objects will sport a high resolution of 256. 3. Brand new character models and matching high resolution skins. 4. Character models are more individual. For example each guard/trooper type will now have its own model instead of using the generic one. 5. Character models now have their own fingers (removing the 'mittens' effect). 6. Models that require animation will be full animated from scratch to compliment the higher quality feel. 7. Characters look darker and more moody to enhance the game play experience. 8. I think the augmentations should be more extreme. if you look at the classic shot, he is more machine than man, and in the new one, while he undoubtedly better looking, there is just too much skin.

The model looks OK, although the arm position is kind of weird (maybe just as an example), but the texture is not very true to the original. In the original, Bob Page is pasty white. There's nowhere near enough augmentation on his body. Also, the white eyes don't make any sense and are not an improvement. If you want to make the eyes blue like JC's and Paul's then that makes sense, but white is just weird looking.
I think it's awesome what you guys are doing, but this particular model could use a little bit of work, IMO.
If you look to the left of the image underneath Bob's name you will see that the skin and model are both in an 'Alpha' state, meaning that they are far from complete.
I like it. Considering the improvement it is from the original, I'm not going to complain about his miraculous tan. Good work.
