The year is 2139 and the Allied American States are deeply involved in World War 5. You are a high ranking officer in the AAS Military. You have no family, no friends, and no home. You lately began experiencing strange visions. In the year 2139, about 25% of the population has visions, but not like yours...
Ever since the end of the 21st Century, every day people started having visions as a result of a new weapons technology used in World War 4. This technology produced radiation when used. The radiation spread through the Earth which happened to activate a dormant portion of our brains. These visions were difficult to comprehend for men and women of the time because no one had ever experienced such a thing. It was like they could see what was happening in key points of the universe all at once. Many died because their weak minds could not handle the surges of information that was being forced upon them. The strong minded, however, survived. We became a new society. With the new abilities we had, we were able to become more aware of our neighbors in our universe. Soon, we developed the ability to not just watch and listen through our minds, but also to speak. We could telepathically speak to other beings throughout our universe. Not only this, but this part of our brain seemed to link us together in such a way, that we became a collective conciousness. Everyone was able to instantly speak with each other telepathically. Our spoken and written language remained only to document our existence. We had no more wars. There were never any more misunderstandings or conflicts that couldn't be negotiated within a matter of seconds. We lived and thrived entirely inside what makes humans such a great race: our minds. It was the humans true Golden Age.

I'm not sure if anyone is paying attention to this mod anymore, but my attention has since been shifted to a different project. Plus, a few weeks ago my hard drive got corrupted and I lost all my files relating to this mod. Just thought I would let you know. So, this mod will be archived.

This mod sounds interesting. Just have to suspend disbelieve that humanity could have survived two more world wars in order to have a fifth. :P

I doubt that humans, As dumb as we obviously are, Would risk a third world war. Never mind a forth or god forgive a big old number five.
Truth is, Anyone that could even entertain the thought of a third world war in the Earths current condition is plain retarded, No matter how you box it with pretty a big bow and a well thought out gift tag. Wars are about one or more of three things. Since our broken globe no longer has the natural goodies we so want to plunder, we can rule one of them out. The other two; Hate of a different race and the good old "my **** is bigger then yours." is stupid. Yet... Looking back on the violence that is spread thick over our Earths surface at the moment. Whats to stop people calling this period, world war three.
Once you break it down to a simple smart witty comment. A world war in the next thirty plus years, would be like two men/women dropping there cloths and arguing about who can swim the longer distance across a lake of lava. Sure, They would argue their points but when it came down to doing it, They both lose even if one wins.
Saying all this... are we not forgetting its a game :P

It's important to remember that this is a fictional game with a story that is NOT based on true events. I find it hard to believe that you guys are finding a larger problem with the possibility of more World Wars when this has teleporters, faster than light travel, and interstellar life.
Think of any other Sci-Fi game... how are their stories that much more believable than mine? It would have been obvious if I were trying to make the story 100% believable.
we already have the ability to teleport light. There was an experment in australia back in early 2003. IT worked with single particals so i think that given the time scale of the game. Teleporting would have a good shot of being real.
we can ALREADY push atoms though a excelartor at close to the speed of light. Although some theories say that pushing past light speed would end the world. its still a possiblity.
where blowing up the world in a fight is just silly :P lol
im just kidding man. I know its a game. I actually said that on my last post. im making a mod where you have been frozen on a space shuttle with over 1000 more people and then landed back on earth 2000+ years after the human race had been destoryed :).

I'm working on the website right now, should I make it totally in flash, or just partially in flash (like just the menu)?
Also, should I have the mod's music play in the background of the website?
Dont overdo the flash.. its cheap looking and hard to navigate at times as well as slow.
and PLEASE dont have the mods music in the background. I dont think there is anything i personally hate more then music in a website. cause if people have there volume up high cause they been listening to music or watching TV and they forget to turn it down and they go on your site they lose their ears...
naaa leave the music out :D
