i am not gonna argue with you but i think this is destroying original concept of the game.It is your mod so do whatever you want with it but i think it is not a good idea.
i was thought like that.
But for epic battle, i don't want there is a limit in training troop.
have you ever played on some comunity made map ?
lots of them have vilages vith 3000 + population so if you want big battles this play on these maps.
i played almost all the map. But of course when we want a battle take a long time to win(For slaugter), 5000 pop may not enough too.
oh and also would you mind making support for the mod imperial 7.0 or at least inputing siege equipement for the other races (rashiduns , greeks, ...)?
I made some siege equipment myself using texture of the roman equipement but siege towers crash the game when units go up them. could you help me somehow?

it is however in a modpack so i dont know if it is good enought for your purpouses
