After a long, bloody war in the Sudan, the governments of the United States and Russia struck an uneasy cease-fire over the fate of Africa and its burgeoning industry. This peace would be short lived, for to the north a new conflict was brewing. Ukraine, a former satellite state of the Soviet Union, sought to gain back the power from which it once reveled in. As the snow fell in a heavy midwinter storm, Ukrainian troops moved towards the border of Belarus. Without warning, Ukrainian troops attacked with a speed and effectiveness not seen since the Blitzkrieg of WWII.

We’ll begin by welcoming our new developer to the team.
This week we had Sarge join the team as a Texture Artist/Skinner. He has adapted to the team quickly, and is busy working on vehicle skins for us. Expect to see some completed work from Sarge on our front page soon.

Our first thing to show today is the Su-24M Fencer.

Su-24M Fencer

The Su-24M is a front line bomber designed to penetrate hostile PoE:2 territory, and destroy ground and surface targets. This will definitely be a bombers delight!
Both the model and skin where developed by Geledonutt, which makes that three aircraft fully developed by him within the last three weeks!

Some things that were in our original version of Point of Existence were developed in preparation for Battlefield:2.
From time to time we will post in-game screenshots of equipment that has been ported over. This week we would like to showcase the Ah-6 Little Bird.

This of course is a favorite with many that enjoy flying helicopters. D_Fast took the time this week to get it coded and added into PoE:2.

What’s better than showcasing aircrafts?
The first thing that comes to our mind is something to shoot them down with. AgentX debuts with his first fully developed weapon - the SA-7 portable anti-air missile.

SA-7 Portable Anti-Air Missile

This is the first of many different anti-air weapons to help defend troops on the ground from enemy aircraft.

We would like to thank all of our community websites that are posting our news worldwide. We forgot to mention last week that we have a community in Japan named Battlefield Empire that is reporting on PoE:2 news. We appreciate their support.

Stay tuned for next week - we have some exciting things to show as we continue the development of PoE:2.
