Perfection is an action packed game where the player takes control of a mentally disturbed assassin, whose sanity is warped to the point of accepting contracts to indulge his perfectionist habits. The player will have the ability to scout out the victim’s location, using logic to formulate a plan of attack beforehand and then use whatever methods they deem necessary to carry out the assassination. Perfection allows the player to participate in both the planning and execution stage of being an assassin and has them striving for that ‘Perfect Kill’.
Here is the the initial Tech Demo for Perfection narrated by myself and Mike (AlliedCarpet). Here we're showing a run-through of general gameplay and some example of effects on AI and interacting with the environment. Any feedback on gameplay would be much appreciated.
awesome stuff i like the idea of the planning out. One thing is that i don't really see a high value target just strolling down the streets with 3 or 4 goons tailing behind, it be better if one or two were in front and the others behind him. Its looks great so far though, hope you guys make some interesting scenarios!
Clever mod, this will be awesome!
This looks absolutely incredible. I hope you create some interesting scenarios and have a playable release for us soon!
This looks very clever however it seems most of the gameplay depends all on the level design.
I hope this delivers. :D
Im realy excited now :D
my wonder is this how are you going to get new weapons will there be some sort of black market area to gain them or do you jsut start of with all of them.
I feel that the assassin you play should be living in a penthouse(personal preference). And i think it would be cool if there was an equipment slot that would vary from like a parachute to silencers or something.
I disagree with the penthouse idea, assassins usually want to be away from the public eye.
REALLY GOOD VID!
a very interesting idea. but please make sure it block off certain methods at times to force different methods of assassination from the player. otherwise i expect people will resort to a small amount of easy and effective methods for all of the missions rather than the full breadth of the game's options.
Absoloutely amazing!
Yet the security on these guys seems to be a bit lax lol. My only complaint is the images that you showed, like the police, seem a bit out of the game. Maybe you should simply edit a screenshot of an in-game policeman and replace it. Its a little thing that really dosent make a difference, and the only reason is because... *tear* I have nothing else to diminish.
