Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

Shown is the new Vaygr Cluster Missile which is an upgrade for the Heavy Missile Frigate.
After realizing the Missile Frigate was no match for the Hiigaran Ion Cannon Frigate and lacked the versitility of the Torpedo Frigate, the Vaygr decided to invest resources in finding a way to make this ship more efficient at destroying fighters, corvettes and frigates while maintaining its long-range capabilities.
The upside to researching cluster missiles is they shred anything that gets in the blast area. The downside is they loose all EMP effects, making the Missile Frigate less useful against larger ships which can easily take the damage these missiles cause.
Note: This video was taken before I adjusted the damage against lighter armor. As you can see, the resource collectors around the refirery got blown up by one missile. In the release, this will take more than a single missile to do.
