But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
Kiith Manaan never rests. They travel, they move, always seeking adventure in new places.
It is not surprising that they develop technologies that support this constant movement. One of these technologies is reffered to as 'Wanderlust' and allows Manaani Platforms to move at far higher speeds when given orders to reposition.
While the Wanderlust boosters are too unstable to operate in combat, this ability allows Kiith Manaan to quickly reposition defences at short notice or even use their platforms in an offensive role.
Gameplay Description:
Grants 300% Movement speed to platforms when given MOVE orders.
I take it this makes the platforms much more effective overall, since they will be able to keep up with the rest of the fleet.
By the way, how will it work with the Nabaal Heavy Platforms (if I choose Nabaal as support Kiith) ? Is there the option to build Heavy ones and high-speed ones, or will the Heavy ones be given the speed boost as well ?
I'm curious about how ships from different Kiiths will interact.
All platforms including heavy and siege get this boost - synergy with nabal for manaan.
Obv. soban only use platforms in a defensive role or has to do a slow advance, waiting for its platforms, which can be a real pain.
The reason for this is that manaaan can not build battlecruisers and thus needs every edge it can get as it lacks long-range firepower that soban has access to.
