Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
Kiith Manaan has been strongly influenced by the combat tactics of The Invisble, the cult of revenge-driven pilots that flew Spectres during the First Hiigaran War.
Not only has Kiith Manaan adapted their cloaking technology which allows them to execute deadly surprise attacks but they have modified all ships capable of cloaking with advanced engines that can draw power from the disabled weapons systems and cloak generators and re-route this power to their drive systems.
Referred to as the 'Silent Migration' these ships boost their engines considerably when cloaked, allowing the Manaani to not only execute deadly ambushes but do so with increased mobility. Silent Migration can be used to get ships into ambush positions or out of combat in short order.
Gameplay Descriptions:
Grants +50% movement speed when cloaked.
Avaliable for:
Interceptor
Torpedo Bomber
Torpedo Frigate
Cruiser
What a beutifull sight...
But only 4 ships can cloak?
You won't need more - they're more than enough to take anything sizable out.
If everything could cloak it would be boring again. The idea is you use your non-cloaked ships as a blocking force and ambush with the cloaked ones. Works very well.
love the ion trails. keep up the great work!!!!
I love this picture, Good work molulu.
Speed boost while cloaking... good idea.
Nice trails on the ships and an interessing idea, a bit like the repair boost from the Kadeshi (if I'm not mistaken).
yep - kinda like that but rather than making them more durable it makes them more mobile
so whens the final project going to be done
