Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.
some corrections
-incidence of light matched with light source
-depth added to the moon
if there is anything else to modify please tell!
much better.
i think that more "lava effects" in the moon will be coll, something like the planet mustafar from star wars episode 3.
there will be a map with an exploded planet, that's where you will get your lava ;)
i cant wait for that!!!!looks awesome!!!!!
yay an exploded planet :D
Sweet can't wait to play that :P
Huh, two massive jagged halves of a planet would be awesome to fly between.
Huge chunks of mantle and crust floating around, snap-frozen magma from the core, sublimated oceans, yeah... that could be incredible to wage a battle amongst.
And a real recipie for lag xD
But yeah... it would be awesome.
Hmmm, to do that map, I would do the two main pieces of the planet in the background, and then put a few huge molten shards with the "derilect" classification in the map... and then have molten asteroids for resource collectors.
That sounds pretty good actually. IPS, are you reading this?
Yea that sounds nice and doable H_D :)
you should also make a supernova map like in HW1 in the mission with the research station.
Another good idea. thanks ;)
I wonder if it's possible to make invisible radiation clouds, and use those to cause the radiation damage. Then you would just have the little particles wherever the radiation clouds aren't, so that players know where is safe. You could probably do five or six maps like that, just varying the shape of the safe areas.
Could also do the same to produce (almost) the same effect as the territories mod.
Planet looks much better now, by the way.
given the number of insane things I've scripted into the game in the last 10 hours, I'd say it's possible.
Lawl, you da man. You've done a few things that I thought were impossible. I love what IPS has been able to do as well.
Actually - you haven't heard the last of it ;)
I certainly hope not.
thanks :)
and invisilbe clouds are infact really simple to make.
