Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

the Overseer reminds me of the Hiigaran shipyard :)

There is something to say for that. The idea was a modified freighter and the shipyard just looks a little like that.

Two anti-fighter guns with an unnaturally long range to scare off attackers.

Really neat refinery Mololu. I like it. My complaint instead is the planet (or moon). It looks... flat. And is the upper left side supposed to be molten, and the opposite side not because it is untouched by the mining operation? Or is it that there is a VERY close-by star?

Very close by star ;)

IPS has stated he'll be going over the background so I'm guessing you can expect some improvements in different areas.

Actually... we'd need the map to actually play the map. However I agree.

Edit: Oops, I actually have the map just not ingame yet x_x

what sort of speed can the overseer go at and what sort of armour does it have, also will it be able to dock fighters and vetts to protect it?

It has slower speed than a frigate and has capital ship armor - more or less.

It can dock fighters if needed but not corvettes.

In MP games it's probably a bit of a weak joint. Against the AI it's barely an issue.

Description

Presenting the Overseer Minerals Refinery and the Slave miner.

These two ships are the heart of any Turanic Raider enterprise. Often aquired from different mining companies around the galaxy and jurry-rigged together to function as a freelance mining fleet, the Turanic Raider's mining operations are oddly efficient.

Their collectors can consume entire asteroids at incredible rates, leaving nothing but bare rock and dust behind. Most Turanic fleets rely on only a small mining contingent as pieces for their miners are hard to come by and often expensive.

Protecting your mining operations is important for any Pirate as replacing them will not be cheap.
