This is Pacific Thunder's first ever Monthly update, and you can now expect them to arrive on the first sunday of each month leading up to our release. The past few months have been rough however the work has now paid off, as the Japanese are fully mobilised and equipped to destroy the Americans!
This is our brand new Japanese Infantry Model, as you can see there is a few variations of the regular Japanese Soldier. We are still adding more and more as time goes on, so you can expect to see many Model variations, and Facial variations by Release Date. In these pictures you can view a small part of the Japanese Arsenal, the Arisaka, the Type 100, the Nambu and the Type 92 HMGThere are more images below which show off more of the Japanese.
Next month we will be showing more of the Imperial Japanese Army so keep your eyes on this space!

I really like them
faces havent been rigged with facial expressions yet so they look somewhat emotionless (without skins they look like gun-toting porcelain dolls lol) but we still have yet to finish accessory and skin variations so expect differences

fantastic! it would be awsome if there was a mod combiner for company of heroes so you could combine all the faction mods togeather xD japanese vs the soviets, now that would be something!
It's possible, but there might be lots of errors before you could launch. And great update, couple bags, ammo pouches, showels and a cap for the leader would be icing on the cake :P

They look fine. Besides company of heroes makes people look alittle closer to fictional popularization then reality. *the Germans for Example* comparitively if they did the russians officially i'm sure they'd all look alittle bit off as well.
But the models all in all are great and they put alot of work into them. Besides they'll look good charging with bayonets.

No, we are not racist. Why would the Japanese stab their own comerades when they can tear apart the Americans? And as said before, if you knew how hard it was to get these models ingame then maybe you could understand a little more about it.

Hey don't mean to pressure you guys; this is just a suggestion, but maybe you would want to change the mod name from pacific thunder to "men of honor" (since there was company of heros, tales of valor, etc and the name kinda fits the series). Since japanese soldiers rarely surrendered due to their sense of honor and duty to their country. This mod is, anyway, primarily concerned with making the Japanese as a playable faction is it not? In any case, it's only a suggetion
pacific thunder refers to the theatre in question. as opposing fronts and eastern front refers to the appropriate areas of interest. Tales of Valor is called Tales of Valor because the extra campaigns focus on the tales of the individuals who were identified for their valorous actions by their country. if you check previous updates the main focus is not just on the IJA but on the USMC aswell.
yeah well we already have a U.S. army, so its not going to be as new and unique as the IJA will be.

If this mod becomes really popular and you update it and add a new factionu would have to add the Australians in some way :p as we were the first country to stop Japan's advance in WW2 XD go Australian Militia:p
