By base models, he means the old ones, they have been completely remade. Credits are just gratuitous.
No, not really, I can even see the same mistakes and exactly same parts on these. You did add some new and missing parts though.
Well, yes really. I remember distinctly re-creating it myself...I used blueprints and remodeled it to new exact dimensions. The old one wasnt up to scratch, this was back when you weren't like you are now.(which btw, you are now an excellent modeller, better than ill ever be).
The old one had some errors with the faces, had an unneccesary amount of tris in relation to the detail visible, and was off on quite a lot of proportions (notably the size of the barrel, magazine and stock in relation to the rest of the model).
I am in no way trying to dis-hearten your work, as it is truly excellent and I cant wait to show off your newer stuff, merely giving appropriate credit where it is required.
I did not need to give credit at all, as I modeled this weapon entirely myself, but I respect you enough that I did give the credit.
These actually look better than the gun models relic made for CoH.
