I know right, someone comes out with one over these every year, it will be interesting to see how far dev/devs get.
Somebody's gotta do it, only trouble is that there's more work to do than expected, and that's why a lot of these projects fall flat.
But they're already doing it! If you just wanna contribute to this portal remake thingy you can join the alive & kicking team...
Already wrote this once (but clicked cancel).
The end goal of both mods differs, A&K is making it Portal 2 themed, RS is (as stated above) a blend of the two styles, updating portal assets and using portal 2 assets where relevant.
I've joined a few modding teams this year to no avail, both fizzled out in about two months, I know A&K is a long standing mod, but I'm not ready to commit to something on that scale.

I'm all for the end result for this mod, but is rerecording all of the voice lines really necessary? What purpose would it serve?
