Well, I think you are already doing a great job over there at The Core ;) Its all very impressive too!
Just a question but can you make the 50cal M2 a heavy turret so to speak that does more damage per shot and have a slower rate of fire over the original turret?
Also then the normal turret can be the USMC .308 M240G GP MG which is far closer to the original HL one :/ It can also have a shield attached to boot while the 50 does not.

also when texturing the F16 it would make the most sense to give the jet local New Mexico Air National Guard markings as they would be the logical 1st responders to something like black mesa.
