Twenty years after originally being announced, Operation: Wasserstein is here. The intention was to create a mod that feels very much like a “director’s cut” version of the original game. Whilst there are new weapons, new guards, and some special code features, it has been intentional not to stray far from the original feel of Wolfenstein 3D. Thus, you won’t find special artefacts, invincibility power ups, or “supernatural” components. In addition to the standard guns, there are new takes on the flamethrower and rocket launcher, as well as a special weapon that will be a surprise in the game. There are twelve new enemies and five new bosses, spread over 20 levels. It is suggested to play on "Recommended" difficulty. For the story, please see the "Read This!" menu in game.
