Operation Remembrance is a massive expansion and realism mod for EA's Battlefield: Vietnam. Operation Remembrance has been created by Denal Douglas, a private mod-maker, and has been in the works for almost nine years. It adds dozens of maps, small arms, weapons emplacements, aircraft, land vehicles, and naval vessels, as well as significant improvements to the AI, making singleplayer more fun and more challenging.

One day I should get a mic and redo the vietnamese radio voice lines if no one gonna do it. DICE either didn't understand or were just lazy to look up. "Đồng chí" is the rough translated word for comrade used by communist forces, both NVA and VC. The ARVN do not use it at all. And IIRC the NVA also use the same voices in the vanilla game, which is not historical since the northern soldiers speak with a different accent as they were born in a different region. Still that may have been asking too much for a video game.

BTW, the gun sounds are on point and very good. Not realistic but authentic for the most part. Really like the new weapons there.

Have you seen my most recent article? I'm LOOKING for people to redo all of the dialogue for the mod. That would be great if you're interested. I think DICE only had a single Vietnamese advisor and voice actor for the game.

Also, for the weapon sounds, almost all of them were taken from high-quality videos of their real-life counterparts being fired, so I think they're about as realistic as they can get.
