Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional development of a Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaging in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the Russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.

As we've announced before, the Tornado IDS has now shown it's teeth on the battlefield. Finally the long expected flagship plane of the German Airforce makes it's way into battle as part of the upcoming version 0.2. The Tornado IDS will be the fierce competing counterpart to the ORAO.

As we've announced before, the Tornado IDS has now shown it's teeth on the battlefield.

Finally the long expected flagship plane of the German Airforce makes it's way into battle as part of the upcoming version 0.2. The Tornado IDS will be the fierce competing counterpart to the ORAO. Realistically armed with two Mauser cannons, like the original version, the Tornado IDS is also capable of many roles in combat making it the main air support of the Bundeswehr.

Here are some of the first mission pictures of our Tornado and it's counterpart, the ORAO. Intense dogfights guaranteed! Enemy ground troops better be well aware of incoming bombs.

The Tornado is a multi-role combat jet, but in version 0.2 we will have one version.

It will have a one person cockpit, that has been modeled by Hunter and skinned by Postman. He has painted the main model as well. This joint-venture project was coded by Bernie, who has also animated the wings of the plane. The Tornado and his counterpart the ORAO will go into service on our new maps.
