Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.
Awesome !
Awesome! I love the idea of them stealing equipment from the dead guards.
cool, so will the scientists have a sort of rudimentary combat AI?
Maybe, then again, this might be just a scientist dead set on surviving. The original filename is "scientist survivor".
Love the idea, as well as the concept! :)
the plan is have areas with cientist in barricades defending themselves. they are smart people, not idiots who only scream and die. ;)
Why must he still wear that ridiculous tie?!
This is cool; it makes sense that someone would try to defend themselves.
And remember, your squad never got the clean sweep orders, so it's gonna be friggen awesome to fight with raggedy-assed survivors.
Still, I was kind of hoping that some of the BMRF personnel would be hostile to you. That was the one thing that bugged me about Opposing Force, even the scientists that were aware of, and had experienced the military clean-up, treated you just like Gordan. Hopefully that'll have been fixed this time around.
I agree. Maybe if not all then there should be at least a few who try and kill you or maybe lock doors on you.
Operation Black Mesa: Science Strike Back.
So scientists will try to steal my equipment? D: Kidding... :P
cool!i love this idea!
Hmmmm so allow me to speculate a little if you will;
From this, I am seeing (Assuming you play as Shephard) that Shephard is on the same faction level with the Science Team? Because the vibe I get from this is that your survival is entrusted in this guard here at one point (Like Alyx in HL2)
I thought this was a Security Guard until I saw "Scientist" at the bottom. Looks amazing.
Reminds me Half Life Echoes.
