nice i like it. my mod was to simple and basic as well but now i am learning a lot of new stuff. check out ''Hammer Tutorials'' on youtube i learned a lot of stuff from there.Good luck with making your mod!
The mod is too early in development to leave a proper review but here are my thougts so far. Its too basic. You do have some knowledge of how to use the Hammer Editor but its too basic for you to create something big. The maps need a ton of polish [adding lighting, deail, etc]. So far its very meh but im shure you will learn more things and tricks about modding and mapping so you can make it better. I can only tell you good luck, because youre really gonna need it.
I agree on this one. I've been modding for the better part of a decade now, but even I'm not really sure if I'm goo enough to create a mod for the community.
Thank you for the advice, right now I'm just seeing what people think and taking advice of what I can add since I'm much better at making smaller spaces like canals and hopefully I get someone to make the citadel make for me but rn I'm testing out the HL2 beta citadel and see how it would fit and if I can even get VALVe's permission to use it. I started working on the mod in 2018 but scrapped the better one in my opinion so later version may take place in a different city 7
as long as you're not releasing anything for money, you can use whatever you want without consequence. don't get discouraged, keep working hard and getting better. the source modding community can be overwhelming and even cruel at times, don't let it stop you from making the project you want to make.
