Still a long ways from completion, but I like looking at the difference. Maybe you will as well.
I honestly think the 2012 floor a bit more, it felt more shiny and true to the original.
The floor from 2012 was created using a method that involves layering multiple brushes. I agree, it looks nice and I would use it, but it's simply not practical to apply on anything larger than a room, let alone 90% of the floors in the entire mod. Our new floor texture can be modified to be a bit shinier, though it's already pretty shiny (this room is just dark).
Yeah, shiny is cool!
Nice but looks better with the exit sign in my opinion

The window to the office, really makes it more interesting.
you can make the shadow cast a lil more interesting (on the wall on the left)
