High-resolution texture pack for Oblivion for Quake 2 mission pack.
This pack is inspired, heavily builds on and wouldn't be possible without Jakub's Travail HD texture pack for Quake: Quakeone.com
Since Travail mod used some original textures from Oblivion for Quake 2 mission pack by Lethargy, Jakub's highly proffesional take on them inspired me to make this pack. My work primarily consisted in recombination of the Jakub's textures (of which about 270 textures are those by Jakub, and some another 450 are by me), with some additions from other Quake (and non-Quake) texture packs. All authors identifed are listed in the included about.txt file. A few textures are retouched upscales, namely some doors< skies, and moster and weapon skins. The pack covers about 97 % of the Oblivion textures.
This texture pack is designed to be used with the texture pack for Quake 2 by vaa4444: Moddb.com
and with HD Quake 2 Monster Skins by Fragger:

Tested with Yamagi source port version 8.01 on Windows 10 x64.

Installation: place obvtex.pk3 into the Quake 2/oblivion folder.
Please note that the mission pack itself is glitchy, especially the Harvester level, and no patches had fixed all the glitches so far.

How to connect textures correctly?
On KMQuake2 textures work, but Oblivion does not work correctly.
On Yamagi Quake II Oblivion works correctly, but textures don't work.
Textures do work on Yamagi, all the screenshots in the gallery are made with Yamagi. Simply placing obvtex.pk3 into your Quake 2/oblivion folder does the trick. Make sure that you're using OpenGL renderer, not software. Run using a BAT file or a shortcut with command: "start yquake2.exe +set game oblivion" (without quotation marks).
Oblivion doesn't work on KMQ2 because the Source Code is missing, and no one has rebuilt the code yet using the linux debug file

it is good to see an update, but fragger's skins...
You can use mines if you want it, and i even left the models used for it, which i will update later once my PC issues are fixed.
the world decided to get rid of all CX650 PSU's out of nowhere
nvm, saw the soldier textures, they look good but they look off place with the Q3A style arm textures

you can use the upscales i did and edit from there, i am fine with anyone using it.
once i get my PSU back i will work on the Zaero ones that is on the other hard drive, i did both bosses before.
